Tamil language has been accepted as one of the community languages in the United Kingdom by the Department of Children, Schools and Families (DCSF). The curricular for teaching Tamil language and other community languages were published by The Department for Education and studies (DFES) with the guidance and resources from The ASSET examination Board and The Nuffield Foundation. The Western Tamil Schools Federation (WTSF) is proud to dedicate their service in fulfilling the need of publishing the Tamil Text books suitable to the above curriculum and the Cambridge and allied Examinations.
Our mission is to provide Tamil language taxt books with exercises which facilitate the students gradually to attain high level in listening, hearing, reading and writing skills. Many of the exercises included throughout the book can be used by students with minimum of aid from the facilitators.Tamilarivu books are an outstanding aid not only for the students but also for the parents and teachers involved in teaching Tamil Language in western countries.
